Super fun bar. Lots of great live music and very good food/drinks. During the end of the rally, this is a great local's bar to celebrate surviving! Go check it out!
Always a great time at the Loud American. The menu is great, the drinks are cold and the staff is on your side. If you're here for the rally, stick around each night for the great music, enjoy the whiskey bar, order some steak tips and enjoy the best people watching on Main Street.
Had a delicious meal of breaded steak tips. It was a full pound with French fries! The steak tips were tasty and I'll go back for those. The fries were middle of the road. I visited mid-afternoon. It was a light crowd on the very last day, Sunday, of the Sturgis 2018 bike rally. Had a good atmosphere, good beer, and friendly service. I would like to see a blues band here. Perfect environment for that.
The shredded pork on the nachos didn't taste good, kinda old and really fatty. The service/servers are excellent and reason to go. Interesting food choices but not exceptional quality.
We always make sure to hit up this place for its famous beef tips. NOT to be missed, we love this place. Live music outside or inside. You always feel connected to the bike rally no matter where you sit.
