--- During the Rally ---Great concerts, great food - buts it's expensive.Most Vendors only pay their staff through tips.But The Big Engine Bar at the Crossroads has cheap beer.Showers will probably be cold no matter when you go.The concerts in the amphitheatre only last till midnight. So that noise doesn't last long. But if your by the Bikini Beach stage, they go to 2am. And bikers will be revving their engines into the wee hours of the night.It's a great party, but not a place to get well rested.
Still waiting at 10:30 for the main act to take the stage. Spent $450 for family and friends to see Eric Church and its after 10:30 at night and the show has not started. If I would have known the concert started this late I would have saved my money. Im sure Im not the only one who feels this way.

I read many reviews of people complaining because the headline act was not on by 1030 and that they waited a long time.. Well the schedule clearly says they don't go on until 10:30, can't help your laziness. The showers were kept fairly clean and the bathrooms and showers all had attendants. Pro there too. I paid for the deluxe showers. Everything was priced within reason and no steep gouging anymore than you would see at a carnival. All the residents were very welcoming and the police kept a laid back presence. Very, very enjoyable and Kid Rock was awesome.
I have stayed at the buffalo chip twice. The entertainment is why we always stay at buffalo chip. Yes it crowded and it will cost you a pretty penny to stay there but I feel its the true Sturgis experience. Its the best vacation I have ever had. Plan on going again in 2020.
