Very nice! New! Clean! Free wifi! What more could you ask for? His pricing is competitive. The cost of opening a business like this has very high overhead. Machines themselves are $5000 and up each. Believe me, the other laundries in Rapid City are the same price, plus they're dirty and the neighborhoods are not safe. You always get what you pay for! Great laundry mat! The only improvement that would've excelled my experience is a change machine where you could add change such as dimes or nickels in exchange for quarters... have a lot of change like that where I would've spent it directly on laundry. No complaints though!
Super clean, friendly staff
Insanely expensive! Gutting the tourists. Min price to wash a single load is $4. Just wash. They charge .25 for every FIVE MINUTES to dry. So for a typical 45 mins dry cycle you pay $2.25. I travel full-time around the country and have never had to pay this much just to do a load of laundry. Let alone three loads of laundry! If I had any other option in the area I would've gone there and recommend you do the same. This place is not worth it at all. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because it is clean and it's open 24 hours a day.
Afraid I agree with Wendy, very expensive. The facility is clean and attendant seemed nice. But $7 for a 4 load and $5 for a 3 load is high. I suppose I could live with the high wash price of the dry price was reasonable, but a quarter for 5 minutes is outrageous for dryers that took 7 minutes to warm up. Also, while I didn't meet the owner, his response to Wendy's review left a bad taste in my mouth. If you're on the road and can avoid this landrymat, I would suggest you do. Other options might be a nearby campground, sometimes they allow you to do a few loads of they're slow, even if you're not staying with them. They will certainly be more reasonably priced.
